What to watch out for in apartment renovation?
The unseen side of this service matters at least as much as the visible side. Some of the most common issues our clients have faced before:
- Refreshing looks without renewing plumbing: laying tile over 25-year-old plumbing makes for a far more expensive mistake five years later. An electrical and plumbing audit must come first.
- Upfront payment instead of milestone-based: paying the full amount up front kills motivation and oversight. Demo + rough-in + finishing + delivery milestone-based payments should be the standard.
- Starting without a contract: scope, schedule, surcharge for extras, and penalty clauses must be documented in writing. The contract protects both parties.
- Unclear waste management: who handles debris removal after demo should be written in the contract.
- Appliance and furniture integration: during kitchen renewal, the size and delivery date of appliances are critical to planning.
What drives turnkey renovation pricing?
Turnkey renovation prices vary primarily by m² of area renewed, which rooms are in scope (whether kitchen and bath are included), and the selected package tier (standard / premium / luxury). Appliances, smart-home wiring, and gas line renewal are calculated as add-ons.

A full renovation in a 3+1 apartment typically takes 6–10 weeks; partial renewals targeting kitchen or bath are delivered in 2–3 weeks. The schedule is specified in the contract, with a penalty clause for delays.
